RAYMOND BOWAN – CE0

Raymond is your quintessential Kiwi farmer – a hard-working, quiet achiever who has a heart of gold and a generous spirit.

Raymond has farming in his blood – as the second son of a dairy farmer he worked during the school holidays as a teenager carting hay and hand picking potatoes into sugar bags. At 18 he started growing his own potatoes and supplying a fish‘n’chip shop in Timaru.

Now, with over 40 years of farming behind him, Raymond is finally fulfilling a lifelong dream – to produce his own potato chips, in his own factory, from his own potatoes. How’s that for quality control!

ADRIENNE BOWAN – CE0

They say that behind every great man is a great woman, and it couldn’t be more true when it comes to Adrienne Bowan.

Adrienne has a warm, welcoming personality with an underlying strength of character that captures the true meaning of kiwi-hospitality.

A teacher by trade, Adrienne has played an important role in the rapid rise of Heartland Potato Chips, embracing every challenge as her and her husband embarked on this new adventure.

JAMES BOWAN – Fallgate Farming Manager

James, the Bowan’s first-born, is fully involved in the day-to-day running of the farm, and is incredibly proud of the way Heartland Potato Chips has grown and evolved. He is married to Jess and they have three young children, Archie, Maisy and Greta.

CHARLOTTE BOWAN – General Manager

Eldest daughter Charlotte, a qualified Physical Education teacher, has worked her way from administrative support to General Manager of Heartland Potato Chips. Her and fiancé Nathan have two young children, Jackson and Millie.

KATE BOWAN

Youngest child Kate has inherited her family’s passion for business. She not only works as a flight attendant for Air New Zealand but also runs her own business, Rural Beauty, and is married to Doug, and together they have a wee girl called Victoria.
